The local Eisteddfod Visual Arts Committee commissions a special project every year. This year's committee wishes to commission a Welsh or Wales-based artist to produce a new artwork for a wooded area of Ynysangharad Park offering visitors the opportunity to experience and engage with contemporary art.

Delivered in collaboration with the national contemporary art gallery Wales - a new initiative currently being developed across twelve partner organisations in Wales. It aims to increase access to and engagement with the national collection as well as to co-create opportunities for contemporary practice. It is funded by the Welsh Government.
