National Dance Company Wales seeks a multi-skilled Technician to provide technical support for the company in the creation and performance of work at the Dance House, on national and international tours, and in other locations, as well as providing technical support for external hires at the Dance House.
The Venue and Touring Technician reports to the Head of Production and offers support in three main areas:
- Offering technical support to Choreographers, Designers and the Production Team while producing and creating new work/re-stage previous work.
- Touring our work nationally and internationally, taking a leading role in get-ins, fits-ups and get-outs and operating Lighting/Sound during performances.
- Support the Head of Production with the running of the Dance House as a receiving Performance Venue.
Annualised hours contract based on 3 days a week
SALARY £30,349 Pro rata ( £18,209pa)
