Beacons Cymru is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for aspiring session musicians and producers throughout Wales to work with this year's Forté Project roster in collaboration with PPL Giving. In July 2025, three solo artists will be accompanied by a selection of session musicians and producers to arrange and record a track in a professional studio.
Could this be you?
We are looking for:
- 9 session musicians
- 3 producers
to accompany 3 solo artists from the current Forté family. Paired with an artist, you will collaborate to arrange, rehearse, and record a track in a professional recording studio.
What will you get out of it?
- A paid opportunity (for session work and/or production work)
- Helpful workshops and masterclasses in session work, recording, producing for artists & music business
- An online session on PPL with guidance on how to register for it
- A professional skill and network development opportunity
- A full track produced and released via Beacons Cymru label with your name in the credits
- Reimbursed travel costs
Eligibility:
- Aged 18+
- Based in Wales
- Have capacity and availability for rehearsals and recording in June and July 2025 (for session musicians)
- Have capacity and availability for producing, mixing and mastering work in July and August 2025 (for producers)
Paid at Musicians Union rates.
