Little Wander is a comedy production company which creates festivals, tours, live events, TV, radio and podcasts. This role requires you to devise and deliver strategic marketing campaigns across our portfolio of work with support from the Admin & Marketing Assistant and Production Co-ordinator. Applicants should be looking for a role which demands a lot of administrative tasks as well as creative ones. It is an exceptionally busy company so candidates should be prepared for a huge variety of responsibilities across all departments and have the ability to re-prioritise work regularly.

As all team members work remotely, honest communication and a proactive attitude without micromanagement is imperative.

Key responsibilities:

  • Devise and manage a marketing budget and strategy for live, TV and audio projects
  • Liaise with the team about what needs promotion and manage the marketing calendar
  • Work with venues and artists to promote shows and sell tickets
  • Create social media assets, posters, caption audio clips and basic video editing
  • Oversee multiple social media accounts including creating content, engagement and scheduling regular posts with an assigned tone
  • Arrange and monitor targeted social media ads
  • Update the company website
  • Write press releases and copy with an assigned tone
  • Co-ordinate print and distribution
  • Optimise the company mailing list
  • Ensure all output is accessible including captioning, font size, colours and language

Essential experience:

  • 3+ years in a marketing role within an arts organisation
  • Delegation of tasks to colleagues and oversight of their completion
  • Working across multiple projects at one time
  • Working wholly remotely as part of a team
  • Extensive experience devising and implementing marketing strategies across a range of projects and budgets including live and audio
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and video editing software (accounts provided)
  • Knowledge of digital marketing terminology and interpreting analytics
  • A commitment to making accessible content
  • An interest in comedy

  • Reliable in working independently and remotely to take ownership of the marketing requirements of the company

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience with Mailchimp and Ticketsolve
  • Experience working with performers
  • Knowledge of the comedy industry
  • Welsh and/or living in Wales and/or Welsh speaker
