Ffilm Cymru Wales, in partnership with Newport City Council, presents a four-week festival of free film industry training for the people of Newport. 

Are you 16+ and resident in Newport? Come along to our free, fun and practical workshops to help you get your Foot In The Door of the creative industries. 

Happening at creative spaces The Place and The Cab in central Newport, Film Skills Fest features four weeks of free and fun activities, including:

  • Advice sessions 
  • Networking events
  • Film screenings
