Join Arts Infopoint UK and internationally-experienced producers and artists to discuss what has changed since the UK’s exit from the EU, and how UK professionals can prepare for future touring in Europe. 

Hear practical tips, approaches, and new considerations for international touring, and what can be drawn from panelists’ experiences working in other non-European countries. We'll cover the types of logistics around moving people and moving goods connected to a tour – ranging from the 3 C’s of CITES, carnets and cabotage; through to navigating border entry requirements or paperwork and work permits for the people involved in the tour.

Marie Fol
Co-chairing the event, Marie Fol is a freelance advisor and cultural manager based in Amsterdam, NL. An advocate for international cultural collaboration, Marie is also the president of On the Move - the international network dedicated to cultural mobility.

Ania Obolewicz
Co-chair Ania Obolewicz is a creative producer based in Prague and London who specialises in international collaborations and artist’s support. She produces interdisciplinary arts projects in the UK and internationally and is currently producing and programming within Artsadmin.

Callum Smith
Panellist Callum Smith is a theatre producer based in Glasgow. Previously an International Administrator at London’s Royal Court, he has been Producer with the National Theatre of Scotland since 2019 and is currently a board member of the Federation of Scottish Theatre.

Jo Crowley
Also on the panel is Jo Crowley, an Independent Theatre Producer who has produced over 40 productions, tours and projects for independent artists and companies internationally. She is Executive Producer for 1927 and Co-Director of the Total Theatre Network.

Kate Perridge
Theatre & Dance Producer & Programmer Kate Perridge joins the panel with over 20 years’ experience creating and touring in the UK and internationally. She’s currently working with Jones the Dance on a Creative Europe project, and Intercut Labs linking artists in Wales and India.

Richard Wakeley
Our final panelist, Richard Wakeley, is the Artistic Director and Chief Executive of the Belfast International Arts Festival, Ireland’s leading annual festival event of contemporary arts and ideas from across the globe.
