The Deputy Sound & AV Manager works as part of Theatr Clwyd’s Theatre Making family and works closely with the Sound & AV Manager in all areas of Sound & AV within the Production Department, linked to Theatr Clwyd’s company ethos and artistic vision. The role demands personal responsibility, judgement and initiative, with a good level of knowledge of sound and AV within a theatre making context.
The Deputy Sound & AV Manager supports the Sound & AV Manager in working with creative teams working on our produced work, as well as supporting the visiting companies we invite into our building. Whilst working primarily in the area of Sound & AV, the Deputy Sound & AV Manager will demonstrate an ability and willingness to work, on occasion, alongside colleagues in other areas within the team, as well as deputising for the Sound & AV Manager where appropriate.
