Explore offers professional learning opportunities designed to empower schools in cultivating innovative, creative learning approaches. With a focus on key areas such as literacy, health and wellbeing and embedding creativity across the curriculum, these opportunities will be designed to encourage engagement and an inclusive learning experience. 

Led by the team at Creative Learning Cymru, with a decade of experience in cutting-edge creative and educational strategies, and supported by Creative Learning Training Facilitators, Explore will provide a firm introduction to our pedagogy giving participants the opportunity to examine best practices, analyse case studies, and undertake practical exercises that can have a positive impact on learners’ learning experience

There will be 36 in-person sessions at six locations spread across Wales: 2 sessions per term in each location (12 sessions per term).

What are we looking for?

We’re seeking Training Facilitators who bring:

  • Proven experience delivering high-quality training sessions (education sector experience not essential)
  • Experience of working on one of the Creative Learning Cymru programme areas, including Lead Creative Schools, Creative Leadership Programme, Creative Learning in the Early Years, and Cynefin: culturally and ethnically diverse Wales.
  • A passionate belief in the Creative Learning Cymru pedagogy and ethos.
  • Availability to attend a ‘train-the-trainer’ session on Wednesday 1st October 2025. (time and location to be confirmed).
  • Commitment to deliver on Tuesdays or Thursdays during the school term. 

You’ll be involved for 5 to 8 days throughout the academic year, with a competitive daily fee of £300 plus travel expenses. We plan to appoint up to 6 dedicated facilitators to join this dynamic team.
