Community Music Wales (CMW) is looking for new Trustees.
We are a national arts charity with many years’ experience in working across the creative landscape of Wales. We provide a range of artistic opportunities for participatory activities, training and mentoring, using music as the primary tool of engagement. Our work keeps the community at its core and encourages the widening of access to the arts and culture, believing that it is essential for wellbeing and in creating a cohesive society.
Are you passionate about the arts and music? Do you want to make a meaningful impact by supporting creativity and culture? CMW is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees.
We are particularly interested in candidates with strong financial expertise and oversight skills, ideally with experience in arts or charity finance. Your expertise will help us manage our resources effectively and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Previous trustee experience is not required — just a commitment to contributing your skills and making a real difference.
If you are ready to bring your passion and professionalism to our mission, we would be delighted to hear from you. Together, we can continue to champion creativity and culture through CMW’s work.
We are looking for applicants from across Wales - Meetings are held quarterly and via zoom so location is no barrier
If you would like to find out more, or to have an informal chat with one of our existing Trustees about what the role involves, please get in touch with Sarah Smith, Deputy Director at sarah@communitymusicwales.org.uk.
