The 'Made in Tenby' exhibition at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is closing on the 18th of November, having broken all attendance records since opening in early October the show is drawing to a close,
The work is a celebration of the local community made by artists from Tenby, comprising of over 140 portraits taken by photographer Alun Crockford, interviews and short films using materiel from the newly discovered Squibbs archive by filmmaker Sharron Harris and hundreds of prints donated from the Tenby observer picture files which have been put into large printing trays to encourage rummaging, all complemented by a soundscape provided by the work of Tenby poet Nicky Lloyd read by Shakespearian actor Josh Richards and the Tenby male voice choir.
It is truly a groundbreaking community arts project made possible by the support of the Arts Council of Wales and needs to be seen to appreciated.
