Karen is currently Head of Arts Management at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama but is no stranger to the dance sector having spent most of her professional career working in dance in Wales – with Diversions Dance Company/National Dance Company Wales, as a Director of Welsh Independent Dance, as an independent producer for small scale artists and in dance education, writing curricula and acting as an external examiner. Her PhD research also centred around the development of professional contemporary dance in Wales.
