The Female Line is a space to meet others in the creative sector, connect, share and be inspired by guest speakers. Hosted by Her Mark, in partnership with The Place, The Female Line is a welcoming event which is open for women (trans inclusive) and non-binary people. We are very excited to be running our first Female Line event in Newport as part of tour across South Wales.
Joining us for June’s event is Puerto Rican dance movement psychotherapist, researcher and international facilitator, Dr Thania Acarón. Course Leader for MA Arts, Health and Wellbeing at USW, Acarón directs The Body Hotel CIC, a social enterprise focusing on employee wellbeing, burnout prevention and support for marginalised communities. She is soon publishing her first book: Body Questions in Practice: Decision-Making through Movement and the Arts (Routledge), coming out in June 2025.
