Exploring how a research and development project has collaborated with creative people and communities to develop ideas and activities without being driven by targets, outputs and outcomes.

Dyffryn Dyfodol made an open call for creative people, inviting conversations before applications, ideas not CVs, commissioning with no set outputs, and investing time in sharing and learning together.

Online on Thursday 9 May 11th 2024 (11:30 - 13:00), we will be exploring the creative research and development project Dyffryn Dyfodol (translates to Future Valley) in the Conwy Valley, sharing learnings, processes and ways of working with creatives that included peer sharing, learning and support as well as the emergence of things we couldn’t have predicted in advance.

Dyffryn Dyfodol is a partnership between Ffiwsar, a creative production organisation based in Llanrwst, Natural Resource Wales and Cartrefi Conwy, a social housing organisation. Primarily funded through the Arts Council of Wales' Connect and Flourish programme.
