The Collaboration Producer will ensure community participation and co-creation is embedded throughout National Theatre Wales’ (NTW) projects and productions.
The role involves:
- strengthening NTWs’ relationship with and knowledge of communities, artists, theatre makers, companies and venues across Cardiff, including finding pathways to our charity through our sector-leading engagement model, TEAM.
- working across the Producing and Collaboration departments to pursue creative development and co-creation opportunities.
- seek creative engagement opportunities for participants of all ages around NTWs’ productions.
- supporting NTWs’ TEAM Panel, a group of up to 15 artists, activists, educators and community leaders from across Wales whose voices shape every aspect of our work, from the stories we tell and the people we employ to the places in which we create.
- opportunities to take part in bespoke skills and professional development training.
As an inclusive and future-focused employer, we will consider applicants who require flexible working arrangements. Please get in touch to discuss this.
This new fixed-term role is supported by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, which is being administered by Cardiff Council, and therefore we look to recruit a candidate based in Cardiff, who has an understanding of the communities of Cardiff.
