We are delighted to let you know that Community Leisure UK (CLUK) have extended their hugely popular Carbon Literacy Training to the wider arts and culture sector.
Last year CLUK piloted this bespoke training for people working in, and delivering public leisure and culture, with their members.
It was extremely well received with specific training around how public leisure and culture organisations can reduce climate impact and leverage support for climate action. The course also supports you in creating an action plan and reducing the carbon footprint of your organisation - as well as explaining the basics of climate change. You can find out more about the course here.
Fully accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project, the next session is on Thursday 6 June - You can book via eventbrite at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/carbon-literacy-june-2024-tickets-880674730827
These courses take just two, half days via virtual meetings and cost just £50 pp (including VAT). Courses are delivered either by Community Leisure UK or their education partner’s the Workers Educational Association depending on the date.
