The partnership organisations have received Arts Council of Wales funding to conduct research into demand and any potential barriers in terms of international performances, festivals, community workshops, and participation facing African arts activities in Wales.
The survey wishes to find out what appetite there is in Wales for African arts activities and the potential interest in an all Wales Wales-African festival.

As an organisation they are looking at how to make it easier, more sustainable, and affordable to bring African acts and artists to Wales by creating an interested circuit (in Wales and beyond), so that the administration/visa paperwork and costs can be shared between a selection of gigs making it less onerous on any one festival/venue.
