Brecon Festival Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker, the most celebrated Christmas ballet, makes a joyful return to the stage once again, with Tchaikovsky’s famous music played live by the Brecon Festival Ballet Orchestra and over 80 dancers onstage! Professional dancers and musicians are joined onstage by members of the local community in children’s and actor’s roles. Of the 160 people involved both in the cast and behind the scenes, 140 are from Wales, making this one of the biggest annual gatherings of Welsh arts participants in Mid Wales.
