Arts and health coordinators
Through our national capacity-building programme , we have introduced and co-funded arts and health coordinator posts in each of the seven health Boards as well as at Velindre NHS trust. Based within the NHS, the Coordinators understand current health priorities and facilitate creative projects to help address them, embedding creative opportunities into health care services.

Arts and Minds
This national programme explores how engaging in the arts can support people living with mental health conditions. A partnership between the Baring Foundation, the Arts Council of Wales and all seven health boards, it aims to embed arts activities delivered by local artists and partners into mental health services.

The Arts Council of Wales and the Welsh NHS Confederation have co-developed a 'success framework' that considers the factors needed to grow and sustain Arts Health and Wellbeing within NHS settings. It is being used to help track arts and health progress across the NHS in Wales.
