Connect & Flourish will relaunch in September with a call-out for Expressions of Interest. Listening to feedback and learning from the two previous rounds, we’ve developed a new two-stage application process in order to manage expectations and deliver a more light-touch experience for all applicants.
Expressions of Interest will open on 20th September. The closing date for submitting Expressions of Interest is 5pm 11th October. We will then invite and support successful proposals to submit a full application to a second stage in January 2022.
Connect and Flourish funds innovative, ambitious, artist led, audience and participant focused projects, that engage and connect to the public by supporting the development of collaborative proposals between organisations, individuals and creative professionals from all backgrounds.
Through Connect and Flourish, collaborators working within a shared set of values will deliver projects that mean something and matter to the people they’re for. Finding real and meaningful ways of getting them involved whilst providing unheard voices an opportunity to define their own outcomes through the arts.
The budget for the next round of Connect and Flourish is £1.5million and is made possible by funds distributed by the Arts Council of Wales from the proceeds of the National Lottery.
To support the forthcoming programme, we will hold a virtual briefing session to update the sector on our new approach and showcase some of projects from previous funding rounds.
