Cimera are delighted to have been awarded funding by the Arts Council of Wales’s National Lottery Fund ‘Stabilisation Fund for organisations’.

Cimera are a North Wales based contemporary circus, theatre and arts company and this funding will play a critical role in developing our future work. Particularly our exciting new co- creation project ‘Lleu’, working with artists and communities to create performance and interactive arts light festivals in Caernarfon, Bangor and Pwllheli. We are a company whose members have been working with local artists and people in our community and beyond over many years creating performances, outdoor spectacles, promenades and parades that deliver vibrant participatory arts at the heart of our community. The initial stages of this project will take place over the coming months.

Thanks to National Lottery players, up to £600 million has been made available to support communities throughout the UK during the Coronavirus crisis.
