Span Arts, a community arts charity based in Narberth, Pembrokeshire is seeking to recruit a new Creative Technologist to realise the ambitious plans of Span Digidol. 

Span Digidol is a 2 year pilot project to develop a new way of delivering cultural services via digital technology to rural communities across the whole of Pembrokeshire. The project has just entered into it’s second year and finishes in May 2020. 

The post will work with our Digital Engagement Officer to deliver SPAN’s Digital Engagement Policy and Plan, run a suite of creative and social activities that have been identified and adapted to deliver culture in Pembrokeshire through digital, and ensure that the organisation adopt a new set of working practices. 

These post is funded through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Union and The Arts Council of Wales.

Location:Narberth  

Salary:£8,800 per annum, pro rata, 2 days per week 

FTE £22,000 based on a 35hour week 

Working Hours:14 hours per week – spread over 2 days by arrangement  

Some evening & weekend work will be required  

Term: Fixed-Term 9 month contract until 23rd May 2020 

Holiday entitlement:5.6 weeks (28 days) per annum pro rata including Bank Holidays
